How it Works

This tool converts your image files into a single-page PDF document:

Processing: Supports JPG, PNG, WEBP, and more, converting them to RGB mode.
Quality: Preserves original image quality without applying extra compression.
Privacy: Files are processed on the server and automatically deleted after download.

Common Use Cases

Convert images to PDF for better compatibility and archiving:

Forms & Applications: Attach photos or screenshots to portals that only accept PDFs.
Printing: Ensure consistent layout when printing screenshots or web content.
Standardization: Archive scanned pages or sketches in a universally supported format.

Important Notes

File size: The PDF size will be roughly similar to the original image size because we embed the image data directly without recompression.
Transparency: Images with alpha channels (transparent backgrounds) will have the transparency flattened onto a white background to ensure the PDF displays correctly everywhere.
Orientation: The image retains its original dimensions; the PDF page size matches the image pixel dimensions in points (1 pixel = 1 point at 72 DPI). This means wide images produce wide PDFs, which is usually fine for viewing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Since PDF does not support image transparency the same way PNG does, we composite the PNG onto a white background before creating the PDF. The transparent parts become white. This ensures the PDF looks consistent across all readers.

The upload limit depends on your server configuration, but we recommend keeping images under 10 MB for fast processing. Extremely large images (tens of megabytes) may cause timeouts or memory issues. Consider resizing or compressing the image first if it's too big.

The PDF will contain only the rasterized image; no OCR is performed, so the text inside the image will not be searchable. This tool is for converting image pixels to a PDF page. If you need searchable text, you would need an OCR tool after conversion.

Yes, the upload form works on mobile browsers. You can take a photo with your phone, upload it, and receive a PDF. However, large image files from modern cameras may be heavy to upload over cellular networks. Using Wi-Fi is recommended for best experience.
